Tina Michele Anchondo, known affectionately to all as Tina, was a beacon of joy and laughter in the lives of everyone she touched. Born on a snowy February day in 1968, in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado, she entered this world with a sparkle that would outshine the frostiest winter. Tina's journey came full circle as she took her final bow in the same city where her story began, on November 3, 2025.
Tina's life was a masterpiece of love and creativity. As a devoted homemaker, she crafted a home that was not just a place to live, but a sanctuary of warmth and inspiration for her family. Known for her loving nature, Tina was the glue that held her family together. She was a sister, an aunt, and a friend who could turn any frown upside down with her infectious laughter and ingenious antics.
Her family was her pride and joy, including her sister Tangie Reyes, brother Paul Baca Jr, sister-in-law Tracey Baca, and a parade of nieces and nephews: Jessica, Veronica, Josh, Paul III, Aspen, Payge, Demetrio, Erica, and Kylee. Each of them was touched by Tina's boundless love and creativity. Her nieces and nephews remember her as the cool aunt who could turn any day into an adventure with her playful spirit. Tina's in-laws, Tony and Trace Pennell, were also swept up in her whirlwind of positive energy.
Tina's passion extended to her Christian faith, which guided her through life's ups and downs with a steady hand and a trusting heart. Her spirit now dances with the angels alongside her beloved parents, Paul Baca Sr and Paula Baca, in a reunion of heavenly proportions.
Her interests were as colorful as her personality. Tina was a traveler at heart, cherishing every moment spent discovering new places with her family. Her sparkling jewelry wasn't just an accessory; it was a reflection of her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Music and dance were her soul's language, with Mexican tunes lifting her feet and heart in a celebration of her heritage.
Describing Tina as loving, creative, and passionate is like saying the sun is a bit warm. She was a supernova of affection, originality, and fervor. Her laughter was a melody that resonated in the hearts of all who had the privilege to hear it.
In the spirit of Tina's love for humor, let's remember her with a quote from the legendary comedian, Robin Williams: "You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." Tina certainly never lost hers, and it's that spark that will continue to light up the memories of all who knew her.
Tina, our beloved whirlwind of happiness, you've left us chuckling through our tears. Your legacy isn't just in the lives you've touched, but in the laughter you've left behind. We'll miss you dearly, but we know you're up there, organizing a celestial conga line and adding a little extra sparkle to the stars. Keep dancing, Tina, until we meet again.
