Thia Lee, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully of natural causes on February 17, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on May 5, 1944, in the beautiful country of Laos, Thia's life was a journey of joy, devotion, and boundless care that touched the hearts of everyone she met.
Thia, as she was affectionately known, lived a life that exemplified the essence of thoughtfulness and love. Her role as a homemaker was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family, creating a warm and nurturing home where laughter and love were the main ingredients.
Traveling was one of Thia's greatest joys, and she embraced every opportunity to explore the world, learn from different cultures, and create unforgettable memories. Her adventurous spirit was matched only by her dedication to her grandkids, whom she adored with every fiber of her being. Taking care of them was not just a duty but a cherished privilege that brought her immeasurable happiness.
Thia's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. Attending church was not merely a routine but a profound expression of her faith-filled life. She lived her beliefs through acts of kindness, words of encouragement, and a heart that always had room for more love.
Her family was her pride and joy. Thia's legacy lives on through her beloved family members: Bee, Sonny, Shawn, Bao, Birdy, Pang Koua, Tou, Choua, and Steven. Each of them carries a spark of her spirit, her strength, and her capacity for unconditional love.
As we gather to honor the extraordinary life of Thia Lee, let us celebrate the remarkable woman she was. Her life was a beautiful mosaic of moments that taught us the power of selflessness, the importance of faith, and the boundless nature of love. Thia's story is a motivating reminder that we, too, can lead lives filled with purpose, joy, and an unwavering commitment to those we hold dear.
In the tapestry of life, Thia Lee was a vibrant thread woven with grace and resilience. As we bid her farewell, let her life continue to inspire us to cherish every moment, to love without limits, and to walk our paths with the same thoughtfulness and love that she embodied. Thia's spirit will forever be a guiding light to all who were blessed to know her.
