"Sam was a deeply caring and compassionate person. He was a protector—as a brother, a son and a friend. He valued his relationships and loved his family immensely. He was an optimist and was driven to help people of all ages and walks of life. He had an endless love for animals, especially Gracie. He was respectful and kind, open hearted and earnest. He was thoughtful and sensitive, and above all completely filled with love.
