Roger Stanley Rieser, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Wheat Ridge, CO. Born on August 20, 1942, in Austin, Minnesota, Roger lived a life marked by dedication to his loved ones, service to his country, and a passion for all things hands-on. He was 82 years old.
A proud veteran, Roger served his nation as a medic in the Air Force before shaping his community as a respected construction foreman. His work ethic was only matched by his enthusiasm for all things sports (go Vikings and Twins!), gifted craftsmanship, and unwavering support at his local church. Those who knew Roger will fondly remember him for his handy skills, infectious humor, and generosity.
He leaves behind a loving family: his son Jeremy Rieser, daughter Wanda Allen with husband Robert, cherished granddaughter Cora, former wife Karmen Rieser, brothers James and Gerald Rieser, and sister Eileen. Roger’s legacy of laughter and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Celebration of Life 10:00 AM, January 23, 2025 at Peace Lutheran Church 5675 Field St, Arvada, CO 80002. The family invites everyone for a reception to follow service in Peace Lutheran Reception Hall.
