Rea Dawn Richardson passed away on May 23, 2022 at age 84. She was born on July 21, 1937 in Mill Fork, Utah to Vern and Helen Rodeback, the 4th of 5 children. As a teenager, she worked at a small restaurant “up the canyon” in Mill Fork. She moved to Denver as a young married woman and soon after moved to her Arvada home where she remained her entire life. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Dominguez and Kris Milke; two siblings, Barbara Sperry and David Rodeback; 6 grandchildren and many other family members and friends. She will be dearly missed.
Rea enjoyed any time she could go to the Colorado mountains for picnics and spending time with family. Her favorite holiday was Independence Day because she loved fireworks. Her group of friends from the neighborhood were “the card ladies” and even though they quit playing cards years ago and some of the ladies moved away, they kept the group going strong with coffee on Fridays and a Christmas dinner at a nice restaurant. Her hobby was working word search and crossword puzzles.
