Nancy Dalton Reeder

Nancy D. Reeder, 68 of Arvada, Colorado, passed away at her home on April 15, 2023.  She was born September 26, 1954 in Sidney, Nebraska to her parents Paul and Frances Dalton.

Attending country school through the 8th grade and graduated in 1972 from Gurley High School located in Gurley Nebraska. Nancy graduated from Immanuel Hospital School of Nursing in 1976 and later received her Bachelors degree in Nursing from Metro State University.  Becoming a registered nurse in her 20's and had been working in the Healthcare field for over 40 years.  She was previously employed by Denver Health Hospital and St. Anthony Central before retiring a few years ago.  She loved to garden and was an avid cat lover.  

Nancy is survived by her loving husband Richard Reeder of 31 years; daughter Abby Reeder; sister Kathy (Larry) Surber; brothers Dan (Liisa) Dalton and Bill (Lynda) Dalton; nieces Chelsey Surber, Kirsi Anselmi and Liz Krause; nephews John (Katie) Surber, Bob Dalton, Mike (Danielle) Dalton and Steven Anselmi;  her cat Bobbi; grand kitties Pip and Ash; many more loved ones, family and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by both her parents  Paul and Frances (Monfort) Dalton; the family cats Mandy, Monkey Sue and Buster; the family dogs Tarbou and Daisey. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 on April 28, 2023 at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church 7400 W. 80th. Ave. Arvada, CO 80003. Visitation 1 hour prior @ 10:00 AM.

Reception will follow service in the Spirit of Christ reception hall. 

Interment 2:00 PM, Arvada Cemetery 5581 Independence St. Arvada, CO 80002.
