Michael Desmond Windfield, who was born on October 25, 1960, in Aruba and died on May 9, 2026, will be remembered with affection and respect for the steady, dignified life he lived and the many ways he touched those around him.
Michael was in the Navy and Air Force which he proudly served during Desert Storm. He then devoted many years of his professional life to serving as a representative for the Internal Revenue Service. In that role, he was known for his diligence, patience, and commitment to doing his work well.
Beyond his career, Michael was a man of family and enduring connections. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mervin, and by his parents, Eric Johnson and Inez Windfield. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Josiane Windfield, his nephew, Eric Windfield, his nieces, Melissa and Aliette Windfield, and his great-nephew Cameron Windfield and many more family members and friends who will carry forward his memory with love and gratitude.
