Lucas Daniel Remington, known as Luke to his friends and family, passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 45, due to heart failure in Arvada, Colorado. Luke was born on September 29, 1979, in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Luke attended Stevens Point Area High School. Continued his education at UW Madison, Wisconsin. His career was marked by the same thoughtfulness and love he brought into every aspect of his life.
He was a beloved son to his mother, Mary Berard and her husband, Bob, as well as to his father, Dale Remington and his wife, Wendy. His grandmother, Dorothy ‘Dot’ Remington, always held a special place in his heart. Luke's sister, Sara Remington, her partner Rick Frisch, and his adored nephews, Remington and Andrew Frisch, will deeply miss Luke.
Those who knew Luke understood that his life was a canvas of generosity and affection. A talented artist, he found joy in creating and restoring beauty in the world around him. His interests were a reflection of his inner self – a man who was at once a good friend, a caring family member, and a devoted pet owner to his cherished chocolate lab, Larry.
As we bid farewell to Lucas Daniel Remington, we celebrate the time we were fortunate enough to spend with him. He lived his life with an open heart, and in doing so, taught us the immeasurable value of compassion and friendship. Though he has left this world far too soon, the memories of his loving spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.
Luke's journey through life was a testament to the profound impact one person can make through simple acts of love and dedication to others. May we all strive to honor his memory by living with the same kindness and generosity that he so effortlessly embodied.
In remembrance of Lucas Daniel Remington, we will hold dear the moments we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the love that he so freely gave. Rest in peace, dear Luke, your legacy will continue in the hearts of those who loved you.
