Linda McKay

Linda McKay, of Golden Colorado passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born April 27, 1937, in Louisiana and later resided in Indiana, France, New Jersey and Ohio prior to moving to Colorado in 1991.

Wife of Jack McKay (deceased), mother to Michael (Nadine) McKay, Jacki (Kevin) Desloover and Alison German. Grandmother of Sean, Nicholas, Todd, Taeler, Rachael, David, Jackson and Luke. Great-grandmother to Cora and Karoo. Sister to James Kattman, Buddy Kattman (deceased) and Joan Browning (deceased).

Linda's faith was a guiding light in her life. Her bible study group was a source of strength and fellowship, where she deepened her understanding and shared her conviction with like-minded souls. Her faith-filled nature was evident in the way she approached life's challenges and celebrated its blessings, always with a heart full of gratitude.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, listening to music and the company of her pets.

She was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will be held in our hearts forever.

A graveside service will be held January 9th, 2pm at Golden Cemetery. A reception follows at the Golden Hotel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Foothills Animal Shelter.
