Leonard A DiPentino

Leonard A.DiPentino passed away peacefully on February 23, 2022. He was born on June 15, 1934, in Chicago, IL. to his parents Daniel and Lucille DiPentino. Leonard grew up in Chicago, graduated high school in 1952, attended the University of Illinois on a football scholarship.  He then joined the United States Marines and proudly severed during the Korean War. After his tour of duty as a Marine Leonard returned to Chicago and met his loving wife Donna, who proceeded him 2 months earlier in December 2021. They were married for over 63 years.  

Leonard and Donna moved from Chicago to Colorado in 1968, where they raised their 5 children. He worked in construction, eventually starting his own business the Underground Construction Company. Leonard loved spending time with his family, vacationing around the world with his wife Donna, and sports, especially football. He was a devoted Bronco's fan. 

Leonard is survived by: Children: LuAnn DePuy (husband Mark DePuy), Laura Harter (husband Paul Harter), Lisa Jendreas (husband Mike Jendreas), Linda Wilson (husband Josh Wilson), and Frank DiPentino. Grandchildren: Natalie DePuy Zahn (husband Michael), Michelle Jendreas Pennetta (husband Justin), Taylor White Salvucci (husband Aaron), Courtney Bellio, Nicole DePuy, Rachel Bellio, Andrew Harter, Ryan Jendreas, Madison White Hendrickson (husband Austin), Nick DePuy, Colin White, Samantha Harter, and Chase Wilson. Great Grandchildren: Aria Pennetta, Luke Salvucci, Ava Pennetta, Ella Zahn, Nick Salvucci, Isla and Olivia Pennetta.  Brother: Joseph Zangaro.  Many more family members and friends who will miss him dearly.  

Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Spirit of Christ Catholic Community, 7400 W. 80th Ave., Arvada CO
