Kevin James Burt, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, passed away on September 24, 2023, in his hometown of Arvada, Colorado, due to Cardiogenic Shock. Born on November 1, 1971, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, he was a pillar of strength and love to all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Mandy, and their son, Austin, who were the center of his universe. Kevin’s love for his family was evident in his every action. He was a guiding light for his son, Austin, and a rock for his wife Mandy. His love for them was unconditional and unwavering.

Kevin was nurtured and cherished by his parents, Dixie and Greg Green. He was a loving and caring younger brother to Eddy Burt and brother-in-law to Michelle Burt who reside in Grand Junction, Colorado. His niece, Phoebe, and nephew, Harrison loved their uncle for his playful spirit and quick wit. Stepbrother Shannon Green from Ada, MN was also a very important person in Kevin’s life.  Kevin was also a doting grandson to Alberta and Merl Green, whom he loved very much.

Kevin was an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. He held certifications in the medical field, specifically Laser Technology and Ultrasonography. His dedication to his work was remarkable and his compassion was unmatched, which made him a respected figure in his field. His colleagues will remember him for his professionalism, integrity, and kindness. His patients will remember him for his gentleness, caring nature, and intimate and private bedside manner. 

He was a man of many passions and his adventurous spirit was evident in his love for outdoor activities such as four-wheeling, rock climbing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, golfing, hiking, and mountain biking. He had an innate ability to make people feel special. Kevin’s radiant smile, generous spirit, and infectious laughter made him a joy to be around. He had a profound impact on many lives, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Kevin’s passing is a profound loss, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched. His love, laughter, and zest for life will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. We take comfort in knowing that he strove to live his life to the fullest, and his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. We will remember Kevin for his unwavering love for his family and his passion for life. 

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life of a man who touched so many lives and made the world a better place. Kevin James Burt was a true gem, and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

A celebration of life for Kevin will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. at the Applewood Community Church at 12930 W. 32nd Ave., Golden, CO 80401
