Juanito Jose Balderas

Juanito Jose Balderas, a cherished father, son, brother, and grandfather. Born on January 8th, 1982, in Monte Vista, Colorado, passed away peacefully on November 22nd, 2025, at age 43 at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado with his children, ex wife, and sister by his side.

Juanito leaves behind two generations of family. His daughter; Lishay (Perfecto) Saucedo, his one and only son Jeremiah Balderas, and three grandchildren; Alessandro, Layla, and Elijah Saucedo. 

He is survived by his father; Johnny (Joleen) Balderas, grandfather; Miguel (Lynne) Balderas, sisters; Angelica (Michael) Wahlert, Monica (Angelo) Archuleta, and Nicole Archuleta. Including several Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Juanito loved to tattoo, his artistry was admired by many. He enjoyed listening to music, and loved old school cars. He loved camping, and going to the mountains. His favorite food was Mexican food, he always had to have hot sauce with his meal. He most importantly loved spending time with his children, and grandchildren. A core memory that his grandson Alessandro will always have is “building five Spider-Man puzzles in a row, and playing football with his grandpo Juanito”. 

Throughout his life, Juanito's presence was a source of comfort and joy to those around him. His smile and laughter could light up a room, and his generous spirit made him a friend to all. 

Juanito was preceded in death by his mother; Nellie Archuleta, his grandmother’s; Teadorita Archuleta, and Ramona Balderas, and his grandfather; Walter Archuleta. 

Celebration of life is set for Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at 11:00AM at Calvary Church; 2160 Sherman Ave, Monte Vista, CO, 81144.
