Joshua Cody Morland, known affectionately as Josh to his loved ones and friends, was called home on December 9, 2025. Born on March 9, 1981, in the city of Ogden, Utah, Josh's journey of 44 years was marked by a generous heart, and an infectious joy that touched all who knew him.
Josh's early years in Ogden laid the foundation for a life characterized by love, laughter, and a deep commitment to family values. He grew under the loving guidance of his father, Theodore Morland, and alongside his siblings—Jennifer (Noel) Munoz, Jeremy Morland, Jedadiah (Heather) Morland, Jerrica Morland, and Janell (Andrew) Willis. his niece Sierra (Dominic) Gonzales, His mother, Virginia Morland, preceded him in joining the Lord, as did his younger brother Jordan Morland, and grandmother Francis Morland.
Josh lived his life with enthusiasm and compassion, becoming a pillar of hope and kindness within his intimate circle of family and friends in Ft. Morgan , Colorado and Westminster, Colorado, where he ultimately passed away. His life was filled with love and kindness, and he inspired many to promote generosity and kindness.
Josh's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his son, Krystyan Hall Morland.
A man of diverse interests, Josh found pleasure in the simple things—a good video game, a funny video on YouTube, or a heartwarming post on Facebook. Yet, nothing compared to the time he spent with friends and family. These moments were the treasures of his life, and he cherished them above all else.
Josh's legacy is one of unwavering faith, enduring love, and joyful service. His life was a reflection of the Christian values he held dear, and he leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with the threads of his kindness, his laughter, and his love. While we mourn the loss of such a radiant soul, we rejoice in the knowledge that Josh is now in the presence of our Savior, where he will find eternal peace and happiness.
As we bid farewell to Joshua Cody Morland, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life that will continue to inspire and guide us in the days to come. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. We take comfort in the promise of our faith that we will one day be reunited with Josh in the glory of our Heavenly Father.
