Jacob "Jake" Holder, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend passed away on October 21, 2023, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Born on January 25, 1985, in Denver, Colorado, Jake lived a life full of passion, creativity, and adventure.
Jake was known for his infectious humor and adventurous spirit. His laughter was contagious and his zest for life was palpable. He had a knack for making people feel comfortable. His adventurous nature led him to explore the beauty of the world around him, and he found great joy in nature.
Jake was also a man of immense creativity that also extended to his love of reading, movies, and all things horror, all of which served as a source of inspiration for his work.
He was a man of many talents. He gave 100% to everything he did from gardening, baking, and barbeque to rock climbing, artwork, and tattooing he mastered it all. His abilities and interests spanned across an eclectic range.
Jake was a dedicated and hardworking professional. He spent many years as a Traffic Signal Technician and Foreman for Sturgeon Electric, where he was respected for his good work ethic and knowledge.
Family was the cornerstone of Jake's life. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Liz, and a loving father to his children, Isaac, Benjamin and Emma. Despite his busy schedule, Jake always made time for his family, cherishing every moment spent with them. His love for his family was evident in everything he did.
Jake is survived by his wife Liz, his children Isaac, Benjamin and Emma, his mother and stepfather, Jean and JR Hinojosa, and his sister Alyse Frost and many beloved nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity that will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
In his 38 years, Jake Holder lived a life that was full to the brim with love, dedication, and laughter. He was a man of few words, but he never minced them, you could count on him to be completely honest no matter what. His adventurous spirit, creative talent, and unwavering love for his family are proof of the remarkable man he was.
Jake Holder may have left this world, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who love him. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire and bring joy to those who remember him. May his soul rest in peace.
