George Sebastiani, born on August 9, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024, in Arvada, Colorado, surrounded by the love of his family. George was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose warmth and humor brought joy to all who knew him.
George dedicated 43 years of his life to the Gates Rubber Company, where he was not only a respected employee but also an active participant in various associations within the company. His commitment to his work was paralleled only by his dedication to his family and his passion for life.
A devoted husband to Kathryn Jean, George's love story with her was one of mutual devotion and affection. Together, they raised a family of strong and caring son: Scott and his wife Susan, Mark (Jen), son: Michael, and son: Anthony and his wife Sara. The legacy of George's love and guidance can be seen in the lives of his granddaughter Mia: grandsons Tony and his wife Danielle, Max and his partner Josh, Lorenzo (Leeanne), Rubin, and Carlo, as well as his great-grandson Bryce and the anticipated arrival of his great-granddaughter Cali: sisters Cookie, Cindy, Kathy, & Regi, were all loving to him and Grandpa Jimmy who played a lot of pool with George. Preceded death.by his mother Eva and brother Billy.
George's interests were a reflection of the man he was—loving and kind. He found joy in golfing with his sons and buddies, an activity that allowed him to forge lasting memories and share laughter under the open sky. In the quiet solitude of his garden, he cultivated beauty for Kathryn, a testament to his enduring love for her.
Those who knew George will remember him as a man who lived life with a sense of humor and a generous spirit. His ability to light up a room with his funny anecdotes and his easy smile will be dearly missed by all.
George Sebastiani's life was a tapestry woven with the threads of love, kindness, and joy. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we carry forward the essence of his being in the stories we share and the memories we cherish. His was a life well-lived, and his legacy will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
