Doyle Eugene Shockley was born to Elmer Talmadge and Fannie Lilly Shockley January 17, 1945 in Muleshoe, Texas and died peacefully January 5, 2025 at Collier Lutheran Hospice, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. He is survived by his wife of
43 years, Sharon (McClure) Shockley of Arvada, Colorado; two sisters, Delores (James) Croy, Petaluma, California; Maureen Jacob, Denver, Colorado; two brothers, David (Nancy) Shockley, Littleton, Colorado; Daniel (Marilyn) Shockley, Colorado Springs, Colorado; one son, Tracy (Sonia) Shockley, Brandon, Florida; two daughters, Celeste (Randy) Wright, Loveland, Colorado and Jennifer (Laura) Zaylea, Cherry Hills, New Jersey; step son, Scott Morrison, Littleton, Colorado; step daughter, Sherri (David) Winger, Lakewood, Colorado. 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.
Doyle was owner and CEO, along with Sharon of Elite Trim and Supply, Inc. in Arvada, Colorado, retiring in 2013 and attended Foothills Calvary for the past 7 years.
Service Information:
Celebration of Doyle's life will be Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Foothills Calvary
