Donna Lynn Groussman Sparks, of Westminster Co. passed away on 11/23/2023 at home.

Donna Lynn Groussman Sparks was born on March 24th 1949 in Aurora Co. and was raised by Louise and Rex Hankins in Durango, Co. She peacefully left this world, leaving cherished memories in the hearts of those who knew her.

Donna Lynn Groussman Sparks is survived by her children Jennifer Groussman and Michael Groussman and grandchildren Jevonah Groussman and Micah Groussman. She is preceded in death by her husband Elton Sparks and mother Iola Louise Hankins.

After proudly serving in the army, including spending time stationed in Germany, Donna Lynn Groussman Sparks transitioned to a career in customer service. She was not afraid of hard work and did so diligently to provide for herself and her family until age and health considerations guided her towards a well-deserved period of rest and reflection. 

Donna Lynn Groussman Sparks was a skilled gardener, likely influenced by her farm roots. She was an avid reader with her favorite authors being Stephen King and Dean Koontz. She read almost if not all of their books. She also loved camping in the mountains or sunbathing at a lake.

Donna Lynn Groussman Sparks  was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Her sense of humor and vivacity touched the lives of many. Due to this, she had the reputation of being a fun, but mischievous friend to those who knew her best. 

A memorial service  will be held 11:00 AM, December 22nd 2023 at The Crossings Church in Westminster Co. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Donna Lynn Groussman Sparks   life.
