David Lee Synolds, was born on July 28, 1955, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and passed away on April 6, 2026, in Lakewood, Colorado following a long term illness.
David was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Elaine Synolds, his sister Sheila and his brother Michael. He is survived by his sister, Sharon Davis and extended family members in Alabama, Michigan, Kansas, Texas, Washington state, and Hawaii.
David loved listening to music, singing, playing chess, and studying meteorology. He was happiest when he was outdoors, and he loved taking walks in the rain.
David grew up in a household full of rescue dogs, guinea pigs, and hamsters, and that early experience helped shape his lifelong affection for animals. He was a man who valued family, companionship, and simple pleasures and he will be missed by those who loved him.
