David Michael Martinez

David Michael Martinez, died October 17th, 2021 at his home in Arvada Colorado. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Christmas Day in 1979. David was the son of the late Victor M. Martinez and Margaret (Peggy) Martinez, who lives in St. Marys, Georgia. Also surviving are many loving relatives, his brother Victor John, husband of Malia Martinez and nephews Luca and Kekoa of Louisville, Colorado, his sister, Melinda, wife of Valentin Manuel and nieces Leila and Sasha, of Chula Vista, California, as well as his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

After graduating Palomar College in San Marcos, California, David enjoyed a long career both in California and Colorado as a Field Service Engineer repairing and troubleshooting medical ultrasound equipment.  He was an excellent technician and many of his associates called on him for advice and assistance when they were stumped.  He usually found a solution.

David was a loyal, loving and caring person.  Although born in Puerto Rico and living there, in Florida and California, he loved Colorado best.  We will miss him dearly and can’t help but feel that his life on this earth was too short.  He cherished his family and wished for one of his own.  Now, all of his longing has been fulfilled.  He has joined his heavenly family and as 2 Corinthians, Chapter 5 (NIV) states, he has been “swallowed up by life!”

The “Celebration of Life” for David will be 11:00am, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Faith Bible Chapel, 6225 Wright St., Arvada, CO 80004. Lunch will follow the service.
