Darren, also known as “D” to all who knew and loved him, was called home on Friday, May 17th, 2024. D was called home after his little brother Austin, his beloved grandmother, his best friend Shawn, and beloved dogs Sheera, Sadie and Sampson was called home days after him.
D is survived by his sisters Jennifer, Jordyn, Michelle, and Tiffany, his brother Kyle, his nieces Justina and Destiny, nephews Angel and Jeylan, his mother Justine, his beloved Momma Dog and his many other family and friends.
D was a safe place and protector to his siblings and mother. D’s coworkers called him their “brother.” D had the biggest, kindest heart and would give the shirt off of his back for anyone, it didn’t matter if he knew you or not. If there was a need and he could do something about it he would. Even after his passing, D continues to help others. He opted to be an organ donor. Through his donations of his corneas, bones and skin grafts, he will help as many as 5-10 people in the next 5 years. D will be deeply missed by his family and friends. We will all do our best to be more like D, selfless, gentle, patient, and pure-hearted. His memory is now our inspiration.
2 Corinthians 5:1
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
