Daniel Sanchez passed away peacefully on April 23, 2024, at the age of 71, in Wheat Ridge, CO. Born on September 27, 1952, in Rocky Ford, Co.
Daniel grew up in a close-knit family and was predeceased by his mother, Frances Cordova, and brothers Charlie Chavez and Anthony Montanez. Daniel's family circle extended to his siblings also, Louise Alfonso, Jimmy and Joe Cordova, Benjie Lucero, and brothers Arnie and Bobby Chavez, along with their families, who will all miss him dearly. His early years in Rocky Ford were filled with joyful memories and lessons that he carried with him throughout his life.
He leaves behind his wife Lorraine Sanchez and his sons, David and Daniel Sanchez. His grandchildren, Savino, Alina, Daniel, and Gabriel Sanchez. His legacy continues through his great-grandson, Nova Marquez.
Daniel was also a beloved figure to his extended family, which included his stepchildren, Renee Tovar, Lawrence and Jason Ayala, and their families. He was a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Candice Ordonez, Louis Archuleta, and Lawrence Ayala Jr. and great-grandchildren.
Throughout his career in construction, Daniel was known for his keen intellect and wise counsel. His colleagues respected him for his ability to solve complex problems and lead projects to successful completion.
As we bid farewell to Daniel Sanchez, we celebrate a life well-lived, a family well-loved, and a legacy that will endure through the generations. His memory will be cherished, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who were touched by his remarkable spirit.
