Connie Lynn Fletcher, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 82 in Littleton, Colorado. Born on July 31, 1942, in Oakland, California, to the late Floyd and Anna Shenold, Connie's life was a tapestry of warmth, dedication, and joy that touched everyone she knew.
Connie's journey through life was shared with her beloved husband, James Fletcher, with whom she built a legacy of love and family. Connie is survived by two wonderful children, Michelle Walter and Mike Frailey, who further blessed Connie with the joy of five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and the love she cultivated within her family will continue to flourish for generations.
Professionally, Connie began her early career as Executive Secretary at powers elevation inc. She finished her career as vice president of the oil and gas regulatory divisions of powers elevation an petroleum information services. Her professionalism, efficiency, and warm personality made her a respected figure among her colleagues and within the industry. Connie's involvement in various associations within her field demonstrated her commitment to excellence and her passion for her work.
Beyond her professional life, Connie had a heart full of interests that brought her immense happiness. She was an avid lover of cats, finding companionship and comfort in their presence. Her collection of teddy bears was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of her playful spirit and love for all things soft and comforting. Connie's love for the outdoors was shared with her husband, Jim, as they enjoyed car camping together, exploring the beauty of nature and creating lasting memories under the stars.
Connie's life was characterized by the love and kindness she bestowed upon others. Her gentle spirit and caring nature were evident to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered not only for the life she lived but also for the countless lives she touched with her generosity and warmth.
