Charles Verne Allen, lovingly known as “Chuck,” passed away on June 22, 2026, at UC Health in Aurora, Colorado, at the age of 65.
Chuck was born on February 18, 1961, in El Dorado, Kansas. He lived a life defined by love, hard work, generosity, and devotion to his family. For more than 35 years, he worked as an alarm technician, earning the respect of colleagues and customers through his dedication, skill, and dependable nature.
Chuck had a passion for fishing, camping, and home improvement projects. He loved spending time outdoors and creating lasting memories with his family. Whether he was casting a line, working on a project around the house, or simply enjoying the company of those he loved, Chuck brought warmth, laughter, and a sense of comfort to everyone around him.
Known for his fun-loving spirit, caring heart, generosity, and easygoing nature, Chuck was someone people could always count on. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family, whom he loved deeply.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Jodi Allen; his daughter, Jessica Kordziel, and her husband, Steven Kordziel; his son, Bryan Whyard; his grandson, Morgan Whyard; his sister, Carol Proksch, and her husband, Bill Proksch; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Chuck’s love, laughter, kindness, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
