It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Carole Ann (Moe) Guy, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who left us on May 22, 2024, at the age of 69 in Denver, Colorado. Born on August 4, 1954, in Winona, Minnesota, Carole was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life.
Carole grew up in the warm embrace of a bustling household, the beloved daughter of Warren C, and Helen (Crubel) Moe. In 1972, Carole graduated from Lewiston High School, a young woman of intelligence and ambition. Her desire to serve led her to an honorable career in the US Army as a flight nurse, stationed in Germany from 1972 to 1976, where she dedicated her skills and passion to caring for others.
After her military service, Carole continued her commitment to helping those in need by becoming an ambulance technician, a role in which she saved lives and provided comfort during some of the most critical moments. She later joined Kaiser Permanente, where she worked in membership accounting for 20 years, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues for her diligence and warmth.
Her interests were varied and filled with the same caring touch she brought to all her endeavors. But above all, her greatest interest lay in the lives of her children and grandchildren, for whom her love was boundless.
Carole leaves behind a family who adored her: her husband Randy; her sons, Jeremiah with his wife Elizabeth, Justin, William, Richmond, and Adam with his wife Kat; her brothers, John, Robert, and Peter; her sisters, Mary, Barbara, and Rebecca; and her cherished grandchildren, Marianis, Princeton, Josiah, and Tobias. They, along with countless friends and colleagues, will miss her deeply.
As we say goodbye to Carole Ann Guy, we celebrate the life of a remarkable woman. Her spirit and the love she spread will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Carole's life was a journey of giving, and we are all the richer for having shared it with her. Though she has left this world, the seeds of kindness she planted will continue to grow and flourish in the lives of her family and in the community that she loved.
Rest in peace, dear Carole, knowing that your legacy of love and service will continue to inspire us all.
