Obituary

Bradley Russell Boyles, 65, of Thornton, Colorado passed from this life on July 13, 2023 of heart failure.

Brad was born on December 31, 1957, in Denver, Colorado to Jack & Norma Boyles, and was the youngest of two boys. Brad grew up in North Denver and graduated from North High School in 1976. Although Basketball was his passion, Brad went on a partial scholarship to play tennis at the University of Northern Colorado.

Brad later started employment at the Safeway warehouse in Denver where he met DeAnn. After dating for a short time, Brad and DeAnn got married in Las Vegas in August 1981. The two remained married for 39 years. DeAnn had a three-year-old daughter, Rachel, at the time they married and who Brad loved as his own from the day he met her.

Brad eventually tried his hand at sales in which his natural charisma and sense of humor, as well as his unending drive to succeed, led to a long and fruitful career in both the Power Generation and Oil & Gas Industries. Brad worked with many prominent companies in these industries throughout his career and was successful running his own business for several years as well.

In 1982 & 1984 respectively Brad & DeAnn welcomed their son Jack and daughter Nicole. The family of five settled in Arvada, Colorado and were close knit with the families of Brad’s best friend and brother Steve, and Brad’s brother-in-law Larry.

Brad’s happiest moments were playing basketball as a kid, hunting with his father and brother, trips to Lake Powell with his family, cheering his kids on at basketball games, celebrating holidays and birthdays with family, playing with his granddaughters, riding his many motorcycles, and 4-wheeling in his Raptor.

Brad was predeceased by his father Jack in 1981, his mother Norma in 2012, and his brother-in-law Larry in 2004. Brad is survived by his son Jack, daughters Rachel & Nicole; his ex-wife DeAnn and her mother Elaine; his sons-in-law Andy and Joel and daughter-in-law Jessica; his granddaughters Sutton, Quinn, Rylan and Avery; his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Marianne; and his nieces Jacquelyn and Stephanie (Kevin); and great nieces, Mackenzie and Renny.
