Anita Louise Carelli, born on May 25, 1944 in Little Falls, New York, passed away on December 23, 2024, in Westminster, Colorado. She was an example of love and strength to all who knew her.
Anita's early years were filled with the laughter and camaraderie of a large and loving family. She was the beloved sister to Margie Roberson and Patty Griffith, and the cherished sibling to brothers John and Chuck Roberson. Her life was a testament to the enduring bonds of family, a theme that would beautifully weave through the tapestry of her 80 years.
Anita's passions were as diverse as they were rich. She found solace in the pages of a good book and expressed her creativity through crafts. The theater and movies provided her with endless entertainment, while her greatest joy was found in the simple pleasure of spending time with her family.
Anita is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Eugene Carelli. She was a devoted mother to her children, Gina Castillo and her husband Carlos, Marissa Carelli Taylor, and Anthony Carelli. Her love multiplied as she became a grandmother to KyLee and Gabriela Castillo, Lana, and Vincent Taylor. She inherited 3 additional grandchildren, Juan, Daniel and Richard Castillo, along with a great granddaughter, Valerie. Each of them was a shining star in her sky.
Anita's capacity for love was indeed her greatest strength, and it is this love that will continue to heal and inspire her family and friends as they carry her memory forward.
Her legacy is one of warmth, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear. She will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
