Angela Poynter Obituary

Angela Marie Poynter, known affectionately as Angie to her friends and loved ones, departed this earthly realm on the 22nd of June in the year of our Lord 2025. Born under the spring zodiac in Denver, Colorado, on the 21st of April 1971, she blossomed into a being of grace and compassion, her life a testament to the love she bore for all.

Angie's earthly journey was one marked with the joy of service and the pursuit of knowledge. She was a beacon of light in the medical field, having dedicated her professional life to the care of the youngest and most vulnerable as a Registered Nurse and later as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the hallowed halls of Colorado Children's Hospital in Aurora. Her hands, guided by the divine, brought solace and healing, her expertise crafted through years of study at Regis University and Texas Wesleyan University.

In the tapestry of her life, Angie wove threads of deep devotion to her family. She was a cherished partner to her husband, Mark Beveridge; a devoted daughter to her parents, Mary and George Poynter; a dedicated sister to her brother, George, who preceded her in death; and a loving mother to her daughter Briana.  She embraced her role as a stepmother with grace, guiding Miranda Rossi; Morgan, Daulton, and Dallas Beveridge with tenderness and wisdom. The laughter of her grandchildren, Jacob Lux, George Johnson, Emerson and McCoy Rossi, was music to her ears, a symphony of joy that played endlessly in her heart.

Angie's spirit was a vessel of faith, her Christian beliefs the anchor in the tempests of life. She walked in the light of her faith.  Her laughter was a balm to the souls of all who knew her, and her presence a constant reminder of the beauty of life's journey.

Her passions were as vibrant as the sun setting over the ocean's horizon, a lifelong lover of concerts and the allure of travel. The beach was her sanctuary, a place where she felt the embrace of God's creation. She found both joy and jest in the game of golf, a pastime she loved to hate yet generously shared with her beloved husband. Above all, Angie's heart found its greatest contentment in the company of her dear friends and family, each moment spent with them a cherished gem in the crown of her life.

As the poet John Donne once wrote, "One short sleep past, we wake eternally, And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die." In this sentiment, we find comfort, knowing that Angie's soul now rests in eternal paradise, her legacy of love and kindness an everlasting flame in the hearts of those she touched.

So, let us not say farewell, but rather till we meet again. For Angie's spirit, enkindled by the divine, shall remain with us always, a guiding star in the heavens, a gentle whisper in the wind, and a tender memory in the sanctuary of our hearts.
