Al accepted Jesus into his heart in January of 1974 and found eternal hope in Christ. Filled with the Holy Spirit he became a disciple of Christ and witness the salvation of Jesus to everyone he knew and met. His most favorite moments and past time in his older years were seeing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved each one in very special way and made sure we knew it when we walked through the door and left out the door.
Al’s life touched many lives as he witnessed and testified to the salvation of Christ not leaving one stone unturned no matter where he was at. His unwavering love for Christ, his family and friends, compassion, forgiveness, sense of humor, and wisdom have made a lasting impression that will be felt for decades to come.
His life’s testimony shows,” For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us,”(2 Corinthians 1:20). God will never leave nor forsake us and never lose faith in what God’s plan is for our lives. Alfred was a great man of faith and will be greatly missed by his family, loved ones and friends, however, we also celebrate the remarkable legacy and testimony he left behind.
