Alexander Thompson Obituary
Alex was an amazing son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and especially friend. He valued the people in his life above all else. He was passionate for adventure and loved exploring the rivers, forests and canyons of Colorado and the Southwest. Growing up in Steamboat Springs, Colorado he was an avid skier from the age of three. He became a ski and snowboard instructor in Vail, Colorado following high school and also spent several summers as a raft guide. He had a natural talent for teaching and particularly enjoyed working with children around 7 to 13 years old for their lower maintenance requirements than younger children and soaring imaginations! His wry sense of humor and calm presence are deeply missed by all who knew him.
