Linda Sue Walsmith passed away on March 13, 2024 in Broomfield, Colorado. She was born on November 4, 1948, in Denver, Colorado. Linda's journey through life was a testament to her strength, her passion for creativity, and her boundless love for those around her.
Linda graduated from South High School, where she learned a great deal of business acumen. She later served as a financial director for a non-profit organization. Her expertise with numbers was only matched by her creativity as she channeled this intelligence into her own business, Images In Stitches Custom Embroidery.
Linda was married to Hank Walsmith. They developed a true partnership of love and mutual respect. Together with their daughter, Kelly, the Walsmith family created a home filled with laughter, learning, and the kind of love that fortifies one against life's challenges.
Linda used her free time to quilt and sew. Her pieces were not just blankets nor garments. They were hugs woven from threads. Each stitch was a testament to her loving and generous nature. Linda’s legacy was not simply in the stitches she left behind but in the countless moments of generosity and laughter she shared with many in the Denver area.
Linda's life was a lesson in resilience. She demonstrated that, even when faced with the challenges of Celiac Disease, one's spirit can remain resilient. She navigated her illness with grace and fortitude, inspiring those around her to face their own challenges with similar courage.
Linda is survived by her husband, daughter, and sister, Mary Stewart.
The family requests that any memorial contribution be made to the charity of your choice, The Celiac Disease Foundation, Animal Rescue of the Rockies or Guide Dogs for the Blind
